A bit about my background:
After finishing my business degree, I worked in the international automotive industry, but struggled to find passion and meaning in my work. This led to unhappiness. After moving into international sales, I gained financial rewards and knowledge in this new industry, but still it wasn’t the right fit for me, and the rest of my life suffered as a result.
Once I transitioned into sales training, I knew I had arrived. I could use my knowledge and help other people grow without running after every single penny. This was the first time I felt satisfaction after a workday. What a feeling!
I worked in that position for over 10 years while developing my coaching skills. I got certified, trained and I had the opportunity to work with one of the most renowned business coaches in Germany as my career coach. Within a decade, I hired over 200 people, read innumerable resumes and cover letters, participated in assessment centers run by Human Resources, and decreased the employee turnover rate by 50%!
It took many years and various positions in the corporate world before I finally found the right fit for my skills and personality, but I found my path. If had known from the beginning what I do today, I could have saved money, lived way less stressful and could invest my time in other things to be successful, other than worrying and being in a bad mood all the time.
